Here is a layout using pictures from our friends wedding they had in Mexico last year, so funny as i remember when we got married in Florida 3 years ago they said, no , we will do it in the UK and 2 years later here we are in Mexico at their wedding. These pictures are of Lucy and there wee boy Aiden (who was born on my 30th) drinking tequila (or pretending of course haha) CUTE

Practice makes perfect

Today's theme over at Practical Scrappers is 'Stamping' so i thought i would finally use the exclusive Studio Calico stamp from Mays kit, in fact this was one of the things i really was dying to get in my hot little hands , but funnily enough i have done 8 layouts from the kit and i finally used it now lol. I especially love 4x6 stamps to use as a background to mat pictures or i love border stamps like the one i used today. I really LOVE this stamp, the fact its just an outline and not all filled in. This is a picture i took of Lucy Lou trying to wink lol, ain't she the cutest??  Oh and the reason why there is some tiny type in the journaling is that i spelled you wrong i know i spelled it yoo lol i was having a famous Caz moment haha so thought i would just change a couple of the words to tiny type to cover it. No such thing as a mistake in scrapping huh!!

Time to relax in the sun

Today's theme over at Practical Scrappers is 'Projects using Kraft Card stock' I just had to use this awesome Kraft card stock from American Crafts for this one it is just stunning i think. I am seriously LOVING the colours in this kit, so much that i sat last night and got 5 LO's out of it in one sitting, i would say 2 of them are my favourite layouts i have ever made. You will see these at a later date as they were DT assignments, I just love when you are working with a kit that is so easy to use, and the colours just sing Caz :)

Miracle - Mini Album - Picture heavy

Well here it finally is, the mini i have been working on during an online class over at Something Splendid, the owner is the very talented Lizzy Kartchner ( who i may or may not have a scrap booking crush on )
I absolutely adore this album as do Gary and Lucy, in fact Lucy pulls it out to show to everyone and its just going to be awesome for her to have growing up.

Firstly i will say i stuck pretty close to how Liz showed us, i did this because i just loved hers so much and wanted mines to be as beautiful. After i had finished it, i then went through each page and added some of the left over rub-ons and border stickers ( before the scraps went to miss Lucy of course ) and i added a few buttons i had on my desk.

For the pages i used the sheet of journal tags from CP and adhered a picture on one side with journaling on the back. I included Lucy's first scratchy mit's in the grow page to show her just how tiny she was.

Update

OK i just thought i would give you all an update, i have now complete my mini album from Something Splendid and also 2 minis from the Ali Edwards class and i plan to start uploading them all today. I know i haven't really been here but i have been crafting like mad and you will all see that later. OK off to make a cuppa and will be back to get those posts sorted :)
