Snow Day Mini Album

This month over at Practical Scrappers we are sharing daily holiday inspiration to give everyone some ideas on different things over the season, from cards to handmade objects.

Well i had a problem as i have no Christmas stash what so ever so i was unsure of where to even start. Anyway I decided this was the opportunity to document our freak snow day this winter, I had taken a few pictures so i decided a mini was the way to go. For this mini i knew it wasn't going to be huge so i thought i would try making a post bound album for the first time ever and boy i was hopeless at it, anyway i am still happy with the result, and i hope you like it

Huka Falls

Here is another layout from our trip to Lake Taupo and another fabulous family picture. Im not sure if i actually like the layout but it is growing on me, I think the reason for this is that i dont enjoy working with Basic Gray papers, there embellishments are fine, but there is just something unusable about there papers for me.

Papers - Basic Gray
Border Stickers - October Afternoon

Here is another layout using Harvest Moons November kit and in fact its my last one, all i had were some scraps, which Miss Lucy is now the proud owner of ha ha, i LOVED using this kit and i used it to bits let me tell you.  You see the burlap, well Lucy has made a mask from the rest of it, i must get a picture of her with it on lol, she goes around trying to scare you ha ha

This is using another photo from our tour of Hollywood this year.

This picture was one of the ones you set the camera on a timer and run to get in the picture, only this one was set at the side of the spa and it was a quick wade back to us lol, i LOVE this family picture so so so much.

Here is a layout i did using prompt one of Shimmels Paper party class, no joke i am WEEKS behind but that's what i love with online classes you can enroll and work away as time allows. I absolutely love this layout and apart from the background it was all made from scraps, gotta love that.

The pictures of this are of miss Lucy going on a vacation, she wasn't going anywhere but she packed her cute little case of her important stuff, I think there was lipstick and a Minnie mouse teddy in there that kind of thing lol. Well she put on a princess dress, heels and off she was going lol, it was SOOOOOOOO cute. I'm so glad i got these pictures
