Today's theme over at Practical Scrappers is Embossing on a layout, well what a time i had with this, the first thing i tried using a 4x6 background stamp i ruined because the page buckled and then i couldn't make it work the way i had in my head. So next i thought i will just use my zing to stamp a mat for my title, so i got out this fabulous chevron stamp by Studio Calico and went from there. It did still buckle my page so i trimmed it down and then sewed it onto another sheet of patterned paper and it holds it down well, i love the gray dots so much, glad i have 3 sheets of it , well 2 as i think Lucy stole some. I then just added my pictures on top of the embossed part and added a few splatters of mist here and there. I LOVE this picture of Lucy so much, just being her usual silly self.
