On to the class, it was just fabulous i LOVED getting to meet Amy at long last as i have a real scrappy crush on that girl. When we drove into the car park she was getting stuff out of her car for the class and i was super excited, even Gary was like there's Amy(yes she is a household name as i am always on her blog) and Lucy was like where is Amy Tangerine?? she doesn't realize that's just her business name LOL so sweet. Anyway I got out of the car and Amy gave me a nice hug, it was so nice to meet her at last. We had to take a picture of us with miss Lucy of course.
No kidding this store is AMAZING it is just so super cute, it is small and so very well packed.
Here are a couple pictures of Lucy and I outside the store
Here is the kit i had to take with me to the class (my new washi from target)
Check out this cute letter Lucy made me so that when i missed her during the class i could look at it, she drew me her favourite things, she is a sweetheart for sure my girl :)
The class was held over the road from the store and there were 8 of us students dying to play with Amy's fabulous line (I had yet to see it in person so i was major excited) It was just so nice to get to meet some real Californian ladies and even better I got to meet Christine that i knew from the Studio Calico message board, she is just such a nice lady and i am so happy to have met her.
I also sat next to a couple of local girls and they were just so sweet and so nice (Anna and Kristin) obviously i am tiny considering i have 3 inch heels on and they are in flats LOL
Here is a fabulous group photo of us all including Amy's amazing 'mommy' who was just the most sweetest lady.
Here is a picture of our amazing kit
Here is a picture Amy took of us ladies at her washi bar, this was so much fun to play with as we have all saw Amy's washi collection online before so it was so cool to actually dig in to it :)
and here are the layouts we made during the class, i used pictures that were taken on Amy's fabulous instax camera(need one)
Before the class i did a little shopping in Paper tales and we were lucky to get 10% off for taking the class, here is what i bought. I was very aware of our luggage as our cases were packed so i didn't get lots i am not kidding i could of bought one of everything LOL
Was also lucky to snag one of these from Amy, i have had my eye on these on her blog
Here is one last picture of Amy and myself(i need to loose weight so much just looking at this picture LOL)
