Best Friends

Hello ladies

Today i am sharing with you a layout i made for Life. Paper. Scrapbook using their sketch for the  month, It was quite a simple sketch so i thought i would play it simple with this layout.

I was originally going to punch out a lot of different sized circles when i saw the sketch but then i grabbed a kit to work with and it had these Polaroid frames, i thought what better way to use them up than to put them on one layout. I chose 2 pictures of Lucy and her BFF to use behind the big frame and then just layered the smaller ones behind it.

This is where the fun started, once i had it down i thought it was missing colour so i did some mist splashes on the background paper, well as i was doing that i spilled like a third of a bottle of mist on the layout EEEKK so i had to take off all of the frames etc as it was just awful looking and i moved them all onto another sheet of patterned paper. Well i decided to mist this one too and i was very careful and did not spill any, but i had not shook the Heidi Swapp mist up so a big chunk of the shimmer came out LOL (hint - you have to shake these mists well) and it was a blob!! anyway you know the little love heart punch next to the journaling? well that is hiding that mistake, oh and the punch outs are from the first ruined paper ha ha
