So much Love and more news :)

First of all i want to share with you that I am back on the Practical Scrappers DT and super super happy about that, I will be part of the On Trend team so very exciting :)  I had to give up my position after 2 years on this team after going back to work full time last year as things were getting on top of me (in the home not scrappy wise but well it had to give so i could spend more time in the home) anyway as most of you know i am a SAHM again so i have much more time on my hands. I always think being on a team really pushes you so i sent Christine an email asking if she was looking for anyone and she said we would love to have you back so here i am :) Thanks Christine for having me back girl it is AWESOME.

So I am here today to share with you my first layout back on the team, today we were asked to use triangles, straight away i ran and grabbed some of my 5th and Frolic paper as i love the little triangles. I planned on using my cameo a heap in this layout but was having trouble with it.

As you can see nothing worked out LOL, it is a brand new blade and a fairly new mat ( i put the tape on just in case) but well as you can see its not working, thank goodness i have a new mat that will be arriving any day.

So next i thought i would try these awesome triangle veneer from SODAlicious

I have maybe 5 packs of them and even though i use veneer a lot i have never really used these.

Anyway i was just going to add a few on the page pointing to the picture but the picture i used of miss Lucy just makes me thing warm sunny thoughts so i thought hey i will make sun rays!! i ended up inking them to give them some pop but i will say i am very happy with how my page turned out in the end even though it is nothing like i planned with my cameo LOL
