2014 Goals

I really do not make resolutions but I do like to have some goals to work with just to give me something through the year so here are mines.

Please excuse the pictures, My camera is broke and my new one does not get here until this week. I really buckled the paper when I stitched the white card stock down to the background paper so I could not get it to lay flat. Best option was to just sit it upright inside.

I have taken off the LIVE on this as it was something I added at the end and did not like it there, so I covered the writing with a cloud veneer and added the button next to it. Once my camera arrives I will get a better shot and share it here.

I got the idea for this layout from the amazing Celine Navarro over at Two Peas during one of her tutorials.

To make this first I cut the title out using my fabulous Cameo and then hand stitched around the numbers, I did this before adhering the card stock down, and I would not do this next time, it made the paper so flimsy and quite hard to sew. I then backed it on some of Maggie Holmes ombre paper then sewed it onto the other paper. I stuck to mainly teals as they have always been my fave colour :)

I would love to hear about your goals.
