So today is the day I finally put the battery in my camera LOL please do not laugh but I honestly have just been scared, like terrified of using it. I am 100% determined to get the best out of it and want to really do my best but yep I am scared. I am just reading through the manual and setting time/date etc but really that is a lot as I rely on Gary for all of that stuff, so pat on the back for me indeed. It is raining today and Lucy has some friends coming over so figured today was the day.
Also today I finally got around to ordering my camera bag, now this was a HUGE decision as there are so so many to choose from. I decided to go for a bag that looks like a purse and not a camera bag, and while i love bright coloured bags I thought I would do neutral so that it goes with everything. I ended up going with an Epiphanie bag, the style is Ginger and colour is caramel, you can check them out HERE honestly I wanted one in every style but this one I kept going back too time and again. I really want it for our trip to Melbourne so I had to get it ASAP. What I love about this bag (and you can see more details on the link i added) is that I can hold my camera, lenses, IPad, kindle, purse etc so will be awesome for plane journeys etc where I do not want to carry heaps of stuff but keep it safe.
Next up I thought I would share a sneak of a layout I worked on the other day, it is a scrap lift of this AMAZING lift by Leah over at Studio Calico and I just had to lift it the second I saw it, I mean her work is amazing. Anyway I will get a full picture once I have my camera actually taking pictures LOL as at the moment my point and shoot is broke and I hate layout pictures with my phone, so it is a sneak for now.
This has also changed since I took this sneak picture as I added stitching, more veneer and also moved the sequins about. Don't you just LOVE the camera paper clip and love heart veneer from the OHDEERME kit this month.
Next up I thought I would share a sneak of the February kit for OHDEERME as I just love the look of those veneer shapes so much and the colour scheme.
I was just saying on FB that one of the things I love about the kits is that they are so different each month but yet you can mix and match with previous kits and they all go so well together.
Just thought to add this awesome mood board that Life.Paper.Scrapbook shared on Facebook, I really love it and plan to work with it ASAP
Anyway back to my camera, wish me luck :)
